Raw material formulation operation requirements: Precise proportioning and uniform mixing. The raw material formulation must be determined according to the species and growth stage of the farmed fish. For example, fish fry feed requires high protein (35%-40%) and low fiber, while adult fish feed can appropriately reduce the protein content (25%-30%) and increase the fiber content. During operation, raw materials must be weighed strictly according to the formulation ratio, with an error not exceeding ±2%, to avoid nutritional imbalance in the feed due to ratio deviations. Raw materials must be mixed uniformly. A horizontal twin-shaft mixer should be used, with the mixing time controlled at 8-12 minutes to ensure uniform distribution of fish meal, soybean meal, vitamins, and other additives. The mixed raw materials must be promptly conveyed to the feed hopper to avoid stratification caused by prolonged storage. For example, when producing adult carp feed, weigh the following proportions: 40% corn, 30% soybean meal, 20% fish meal, 8% wheat bran, and 2% premix, mix them uniformly, and then feed them into the extruder to ensure balanced feed nutrition.


Parameter coordination control requirements: Ensure stable quality. Screw speed, feed rate, and cutting speed must be coordinated and matched to ensure stable feed quality. For example, when producing sinking feed with poor buoyancy, the screw speed needs to be increased (350-400 r/min), the feed rate reduced, and the extrusion pressure and frictional heat increased to make the pellet structure more compact. When producing fine fish fry feed, the screw speed needs to be reduced (250-300 r/min), and a small-diameter die head used to ensure the pellets are fine and soft. Simultaneously, the parameters of the Dry fish feed pellet extruder machine need to be dynamically adjusted according to the finished product's condition: if the pellet breakage rate is high (over 8%), reduce the screw speed and increase the feed rate to reduce the extrusion intensity; if the pellets have poor water resistance (less than 6 hours), increase the screw speed and reduce the feed rate to enhance pellet compaction. For example, when producing grass carp feed, by adjusting the screw speed to 320 r/min, the feed rate to 120 kg/h, and the cutting speed to 250 r/min, the pellet breakage rate can be controlled below 5%, and the water resistance can reach over 10 hours.


Finished product inspection operation requirements: Real-time quality monitoring. During production, the finished feed needs to be tested regularly, with sampling every hour. Test indicators include pellet uniformity, puffing degree, water resistance, and moisture content. Pellet uniformity requires that over 90% of the pellets conform to the preset specifications (e.g., the diameter deviation of 4mm pellets should not exceed ±0.5mm). Puffing degree is tested using the volumetric method; for sinking fish feed, the puffing degree should be controlled at 1.5-2.5 times. Water resistance testing requires placing the pellets in clean water and observing for collapse within 6-12 hours. Moisture content needs to be controlled between 10%-12% to prevent mold growth during storage. If any test indicators fail to meet the standards, operating parameters must be adjusted promptly. For example, if water resistance is insufficient, the screw speed can be increased to enhance the extrusion effect; if the moisture content is too high, the initial moisture content of the raw materials should be checked, and the raw materials should be dried appropriately before production. Through real-time testing and parameter adjustments, the quality of the finished feed is ensured to remain stable.
